One in five homeless adults is a veteran.

In the United States, nearly 47,000 veterans are homeless on any given night and twice as many experience homelessness during a year. Right now, the number of homeless Vietnam-era veterans is higher than the number of service persons who died during the Vietnam war, and veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are already appearing among the homeless population.

We offer a helping hand, not a handout, to veterans in need. Our veterans programs provide vital support services throughout our communities to help individuals and families get back on their feet.  We have immense gratitude for the men and women who have made sacrifices for our country. As a result of their service, veterans experience unique challenges that require special support.

Our programs offer a hand-up to help veterans address challenges with unemployment, substance use disorder, and homelessness so they can rebuild their lives and thrive.
