Transitional housing: temporary housing with services helping people work towards independence.
Our transitional housing programs offer a path for individuals and families to end homelessness. Transitional housing is temporary housing combined with supportive services including case management, employment counseling, life-skills training, assistance with securing benefits and referrals for substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling are provided to help each person in this part of their journey.
FAMILIES: At Crossroads, we provide safe, stable housing for families experiencing a housing crisis and help them move into independent housing through supportive services. We offer 6 units, and our services include case management, life-skills training, and referrals to community resources.
INDIVIDUALS: We have 24 beds at Crossroads that provide safe, stable housing for men and women experiencing a housing crisis. We help move them into independent housing through supportive services including case management, nursing clinic, and referrals to community resources.
INDIVIDUALS WITH CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY: Through our Serenity House, we offer group living and scattered site housing for 16 men and women struggling with drug and alcohol dependency, and services include case management, life-skills training, and referrals to community resources.
