“I first became involved with Volunteers of America over twenty years ago. I’ve always been impressed with the organization’s dedication to providing quality services with compassion and understanding.

I have learned this can only be done with strong leadership that can identify needs and manage resources to effectively provide their clients with the opportunity to achieve self-reliance and long-term stability. I am honored to support these efforts.”

“Volunteers of America’s mission aligns with my passion as a veteran and community advocate. Their work to restore hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging for people facing challenges reflects the core values that guide both my personal and professional life.

I often meet fellow veterans navigating difficult transitions, and it’s an honor and a privilege to support them. Serving on the VOA board allows me to grow my skill set, expand my network, and more effectively support the veterans I interact with every day. It’s a privilege to advocate for those who need an advocate and an opportunity.”

These volunteer leaders are joining members from across Ohio and Indiana to make up the two-state governing board of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana.
