Local Veterans surprised by The Home Depot Foundation with rent paid through the holidays
Formerly homeless veterans with Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana received an incredible Veterans Day surprise from The Home Depot Foundation on Thursday, November 11. The Home Depot Foundation honored 16 veterans across Ohio and Indiana, and surprised these very deserving individuals with the news that their rent will be paid for the next two months.
The Home Depot Foundation is a national partner of Volunteers of America, and supporting veterans and their families is a top philanthropic priority. Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana provides support to veterans and their families, with a focus on helping veterans find and maintain stable housing.
