Meditation Moment | Serving God’s Love

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Mark 10:45

A meditation moment from Tara Foxworth

As we embark on another month together, let us take a moment to reflect on the heart of our mission: the ministry of service. In Mark 10:45, Jesus reminds us, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” These words invite us to consider the profound example set by Christ, who showed us that true greatness is found in humble service to others.

God has called each of us to be His hands and feet in the world, to extend His love and compassion to those in need. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or providing a comforting presence, every act of service is an opportunity to reflect God’s love. Let us ask God to fill our hearts with His grace and to guide us in serving with kindness, patience, and humility.

May we find joy and purpose in our ministry of service, knowing that through serving others, we honor God and fulfill His calling for our lives. Amen.
