DIY Centerpiece
Step 1: Gather your items.
- Glass mason jar or similar transparent item
- Twine, ribbon, or yarn to accent the jar
- Various fall dry food items like corn and beans
- Tea candle or similar
Step 2: Tie the accent ribbon.
Wrap the ribbon or twine around the top of the jar, or even the center if you’re looking for something a little different, and tie into a bow.
Step 3: Fill the jar.
Layer the corn and multi-colored beans to create a beautiful harvest scene, leaving an inch or so unfilled at the top of the jar. Depending on the size of your jar, make each layer about 1.5 inches.
Step 4: Add the candle.
Position the candle in the center of the jar and push into the beans.
Step 5: Light the candle and enjoy!
This is one small and simple Thanksgiving decor trick that can brighten any table or gathering room!
