Can you feel the chill in the air? That spooky feeling means Halloween is just around the corner! If you don’t have your costume yet, there’s nothing to fear, VOA Thrift is your go-to for last-minute costumes. With little time to spare, it’s best to go with a classic and easy costume, like the five we share below!
5 Last-Minute CLASSIC DIY Halloween Costumes:.
The Tourist
For this one, you can get wacky with it! Look for:
- Hawaiian Shirt or wacky colored shirt
- Sun hat or visor
- Binoculars, map, or colorful backpack/fannypack

Burglar
Black and white stripes all the way for this one! Look for a striped shirt, black knit cap, and black gloves.

Rosie the Riveter
Only a couple things required for this costume: chambray top and red bandana. If you can’t find a bandana, we recommend cutting up a red shirt.

Farmer
This is also a pretty easy costume to put together. Grab a flannel and some jeans and you’re good to go. Bonus points for carrying around a seed bag.

Men in Black/Salesman
This costume depends heavily on the color tie you can find or have on hand. For the Men in Black look, a classic black tie will do. For the salesman costume, any old tie will do.

And if all else fails, grab a sheet and cut holes for eyes. There’s nothing more classic than a ghost! Have a safe and happy Halloween, thrifters!
