Mental Health Awareness Month with VOA Thrift

Sharing ways VOA Thrift can help support your overall mental health and wellbeing.

Each year we recognize May as Mental Health Awareness Month and the opportunity to call attention to the importance of wellbeing. The observance was started in 1949 by Mental Health America and aims to raise awareness and help address challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions.

The theme for 2024 Mental Health Awareness is movement: moving more for our mental health. In recognition of this, we decided to share ways VOA Thrift can help support your overall mental health and wellbeing.
