Grounded for Life
Grounded for Life provides mentoring to help homeless individuals develop the tools for success in overcoming any major life change, including grieving over a loss, change in self-image, managing finances and other important daily living skills. Our mentors come from all walks of life as a collaboration of local churches and faith-based ministries.
We are always looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve meals every Tuesday evening. To learn more, please contact sondra.anderson@voago.org.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a fun-filled week of learning about God’s great love for each and every one of us. It is a time for crafts, games, music and skits. It's held annually during the first week of August and run by ministers of the Church of Volunteers of America.
To volunteer, or donate children's bibles and school supplies, please contact sondra.anderson@voago.org.
WELL RESTED CHILD
Every child deserves a bed. Well Rested Child provides beds for low-income or recently homeless children, ages 3-18 who are enrolled in school.
We accept donations of new mattress, box springs, sheets, comforter and pillows. To donate, please contact sondra.anderson@voago.org.
