Here's how your group can get involved in Ohio

  • Host a Birthday Celebration

Volunteers are invited to help our clients celebrate their birthday with a monthly party.

Ways to go above and beyond:

    • Decorate the dining room
    • Provide additional snacks
    • Facilitate some party games
    • Bring goodie bags

We will provide: All tables, chairs, plates and utensils.

Your Investment: Cake and ice cream for up to 54 residents

  • Put on a Game Night

The game nights provide a much needed break and activity time for our residents.

Ways to go above and beyond:

    • Organize a tournament style game complete with a grand prize.
    • Euchre
    • Bingo

Your Investment: Refreshments and snacks, willing hands to set up and clean up, your favorite game you may want to play.

  • Create a night at the movies

Give a cinematic experience to the people we help.

We will provide: Table, chairs, television and DVD player.

Your investment: Snacks, refreshments, the feature for the night, willingness to set up, serve food and clean up after.

  • Prepare and serve a meal

We provide three meals a day to the men and women who call our program home. We are always looking for groups to help prepare and serve these meals.

We will provide the following: Menu for the day, all food, any tools needed.

Your Investment: Willingness to help, amature chopping skills, expertise in stirring, ability to scoop helpful.

  • Have a group of 20 or more?

They say you never get a second chance at a first impression and that is why we take such pride in the landscaping of our facilities, though sometimes we could use a little help.

    • Winterizing the gardens (early October)
    • Spring landscaping (early March)

Your Investment: An affinity for hard work and getting your hands dirty. We need you to pull weeds, cut back perennials, dig up old annuals, plant new flowers and vegetables and mulch over flower beds.
