Overview

Volunteers of America is a national, non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Through human services programs, including housing and healthcare, Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana helps thousands of people each year in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, Mansfield, Sandusky, and Toledo, Ohio, as well as Columbus, Evansville, Ft. Wayne, Gary, Marion, Terre Haute, and Winchester, Indiana. Established locally in 1896, our ministry of service continues to support and empower community groups including homeless veterans, at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions.
