Holidays in Columbus

Help a Family in Need this Christmas

Hope and joy look very different for everyone – especially for the holidays when it’s hard to come by for so many families in crisis.

The reality is many families struggle to put food on the table or even find a safe place to sleep at night – so when the holiday season comes around, it's no surprise that many of these families do without gifts and presents for their children.

You can make this Christmas a little brighter for Columbus families in need. We have about 65 families that need adopting.

If you are interested in adopting a family for Christmas, please contact Debra Hughes.

Other meaningful ways to help

We are always looking for donations to help the homeless families and veterans we serve during the cold, winter months. Please consider holding a holiday gift drive at work or place of worship to collect household items, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, hats, coats, scarves and gloves.

Right now, we desperately need Welcome Home Kits to give out when someone gets the keys to their new apartment and is ready to move in. You can also purchase the welcome home kit items from our Amazon Wish List.

To get you started, here's how you can host a donation drive.

You can drop off your donations (unwrapped) to our administrative office at:
